In Kenya the government is privatising almost all strategic state owned assets. 馃槀
馃嚙馃嚝Burkina Faso has passed a new law essentially banning the privatisation of all strategic state owned assets: Meeting in plenary session on Monday, October 19, 2026, the members of the People's Legislative Assembly (PLA) adopted the draft law defining and determining strategic economic, commercial, and industrial entities. This text prohibits the total or partial privatization of strategic state-owned enterprises and strengthens the state's prerogatives regarding control and equity participation in entities deemed strategic. The provisions of this law prohibit any privatization, total or partial, of a company or structure of a strategic nature belonging to the State. According to the Minister of Industry, Serge Poda, who presented the bill to the National Assembly, the text defines several criteria for determining whether a company, entity, or sector is strategic. These criteria include those related to national sovereignty and state security in the face of both internal and external threats. The Minister also emphasized the importance of these entities' impact on the country's social and economic stability.

How is it wrong? Unless he is taking illegal substances, otherwise this argument is baseless.
Whichever side you support, IT IS WRONG for a leader to consume alcohol or strong drinks publicly. It was wrong for Sifuna to do this. Kenyans must reject these kind of leaders. If they choose to drink, let them do so in private, relax and appear in public when sober.

Some pastors want us to divert food money to offerings? What type of greediness is this?
I rarely post about such things, but someone needs to wake this guy up! Gen Z wameona vile Millennials wamepigwa character development, and they鈥檙e not about to follow the same script. Wameamua kujitetea mapema! They can feel the heat from wherever they鈥檙e sitting. We鈥檙e not buying it!

We should leave all positions open to both men and women, if people want to be led by women they will vote for women, if they want men, they will vote for men, these stories of nominating people to bring equal representation of sexual parts in the houses is unnecessary.
Nominated Senator Tabitha Mutinda wants Kenya to strictly divide political leadership 50/50: 145 male and 145 female MPs, 24 male and 23 female governors, and the same formula for senators. The intention-equal representation is understandable. But it creates a serious democratic paradox: should voters choose leaders, or should the law first decide which gender gets the seat?

Have said people vote for however they want regardless of the type of sexual organ one has. Arguments on whether people should vote for people with a certain type of sexual organ is baseless. We even don't need seats specifically for some gender.
Apart from the Wom Repr seat, there has never been an elective position held by a woman in the Kisii region since independence. There has also never been a prominent female political figure of national stature from Kisii land. The closest they have ever come was Millicent Omanga. Yet people will tell you that the Kalenjin community is the only one that doesn鈥檛 respect women, yet they have had a woman governor and other influential female leaders since independence.

Monogamous men wanapata taabu sana kwa hizi modern marriages. I usually say polygamy solves 99% of the challenges men face in marriages. Ukiletea bibi deputy ataanza kubehave immediately. There's no married man who has married a second wife alafu first wife akatoroka. Women thrive well in a polygamous setting.

By the time I learned Mudavadi and Weta were less inspiring than a boiled egg and a packet of Mala I had not even met Raila. For them to claim it is Baba who has taught us to disrespect them is utter rubbish. Respect is earned. They haven't earned mine.

In this country, they might need to set an alternative power source. @KenyaPower will give them a quote of 5m to connect power (which is unreliable), and then they will be overtaxed and kosongo men will need big kick backs.
Why don鈥檛 glass manufacturers set up factories here if our soda ash is such a big opportunity for local manufacturing? Have we ever asked ourselves that? Having soda ash produced in Kenya doesn鈥檛 automatically make Kenya the best place to manufacture glass. Companies look at the full cost of doing business, electricity, water, transport, financing, taxes, regulations, labour and access to markets. We shouldn鈥檛 force a mining company to become a glass manufacturer simply because it produces soda ash. Let the miner mine and process soda ash. Let manufacturers buy it and make glass, detergents, chemicals and other products. The real question is this, what do we need to change to make Kenya attractive enough for manufacturers to set up here?

ODM is not pursuing any power. Their behavior is like ANC of mudavadi. Begging for an appointment.

I have seen people praising this , but we should ask if this is the right thing that politicians should be given letters for teachers, police force etc. If you support this then wewe na yule anasupport other corruption activities being taken by this government mko same.
We are at a point in this country where if you don鈥檛 know someone in power, you cannot secure employment. The South Mugirango Member of Parliament, Silvanus Osoro, secured the recruitment of more than 30 people into the Kenya Police. If Osoro had more than 30 slots, what about Kipchumba Murkomen?

President Ruto鈥檚 security forces have killed many Kenyans just for protesting or criticizing his government, blatantly violating their constitutionally guaranteed rights
President Ruto: Peaceful protests, criticism and dissent are essential to democracy. No Kenyan should lose their life, liberty or dignity merely for criticizing the government, expressing an unpopular opinion or participating in a peaceful demonstration.

Today we laid out friend and brother to rest. Just few days ago we were comrades and friends. Today we are adults attending funerals to bury friends that we know. May his soul rest in peace.

You don't inconvenience other people because unataka kuomba, look for a safe place to park otherwise ni upuzi hii.
Replying to @JustTweep
Relax ni prayers tu, being saved from an accident by God gives anyone reasons to pray and say thankyou God!!

It is one of extreme levels of ignorance to inconvenience people at the centre of the road just because you are praying, you can go where you can find a parking.
I admire his deep love for God Taking few minutes of his time to pray kwa highway, wow!!
