I’m honored to have Dwain’s support, and I pledge that, as his Congressman, I won’t shut him down. I will help hold him up, along with the other folks in the district with stories like his, who know Andy Barr sold them out.

I'm running for Congress because politicians in Washington have left regular folks behind. Wealthy career politicians hide out in country clubs, making each other rich, leaving the rest of us out in the cold. It's time we bust down those doors and finally put regular folks first.

Rep. Andy Barr is bought and paid for by Big Pharma. It's time to elect #ECUEndorsed @joshhicksky who doesn't take a dime from pharmaceutical companies and will always fight for Kentuckians.
On TV last night, Andy Barr refused to return the money he’s taken from Purdue Pharma and other opioid makers. He called the idea “ridiculous.” It was disappointing to see.

Critics note that (a) the extraordinarily wealthy Sackler family, which owned Purdue Pharma, is not held accountable, and (b) the company's bankruptcy means it probably won't have to pay all this money. ^JC

I am calling on @RepAndyBarr to return the $1,000 he accepted from Purdue Pharma. He cannot work on behalf of people who have suffered under opioid addiction if he is bought and paid for by the same corporations that brought about that crisis.
