Bit of personal news: In January I was diagnosed with Diabetes. My blood sugar level was 12, they weren’t sure if I was Type 1 or 2 and I needed to be put on injections (once per week) and pills (four per day) to reduce the blood sugar levels and lose weight.

Turned the Bears game off Haven’t turned one off early in years, but why waste a Sunday watching a team who is very clearly not trying this week. The week of the Ditka passing no less. Pathetic. “Fuck you and I’ll see you next week”

Replying to @Predamame
@Predamame @ORION_coaching Looks like Rupp is back and getting serious again as a 40 year old. Note last 5 marathon times. Aging has its privileges. Maybe some Salazar-like magic at play?

Weird how all these stories are emerging after they won the league. Without the league win it’s just David Brent nonsense
🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Mikel Arteta has revealed that he DESTROYED an office at Arsenal's training ground on his VERY FIRST DAY as manager in 2019! He threw computers, laptops and cables onto the floor before giving his staff just TWO MINUTES to put everything back together. When he returned, the room was SPOTLESS. 🗣️ “Everyone was silent and had their eyes open and they were ready to listen.” Arteta explained that the exercise was designed to show that EVERYONE at Arsenal needed to work together to achieve success.

Good luck to them and their health. That is a slow ticking time bomb if they took thyroid meds they don’t need.
"it would be an individual athlete decision to whether they take a route or not" This is perhaps the clearest official statement that thyroxine medication was being offered to those who 'qualified' not as a medical necessity but as a performance choice.

March 2020 UKA Board minutes. Thyroxine administration is again discussed. The Athletes Commission asks for confirmation that such practices - providing a "potential gain for an athlete" - were being shared consistently to all within the World Class Programme. 👀
UKA Members Council meeting minutes, Dec 2019. Amazing lack of interest from the chair toward media claims that UKA were trying to find ways to give athletes thyroxine medication for performance enhancement. Structured regime proven by athlete testimony and UKAD involvement.

I've read a journal today which has blowing my mind 🤯. I fully believe coaches need to engage with academic reading.

David Ornstein was outstanding on the The Overlap. His conduct throughout this whole City cheating saga, while breaking the biggest football story of not only his career - but this century - has been exemplary. The media coverage, from Nick Harris, Rob Harris, Matthew Syed, David Conn, Matt Slater & Martyn Zeigler's many years of reporting, shows there is still a place for proper journalism. And this Premier League investigation never happens without Rui Pinto & Der Spiegel's Football Leaks team.

Now the government suddenly has no interest in interfering in club ownership, funny that
UK Prime Minister, @andyburnham: “I'd be really concerned to lose them [#ManCity's owners]. They’ve been such a huge partner in the building of modern Manchester. Obviously, the building of Manchester City into the global force that it is. "I can’t intervene more in the process. It'd be wrong to do that. It'd be wrong to jump to a conclusion before having really studied all the detail, but obviously it’s ongoing, and because it’s still contested by Manchester City, I think it’s right that I don’t say much more..." Breaking news from Portugal... Football Leaks founder @RuiPinto_FL will no longer be a protected witness by the Portuguese authorities

Unfortunately, football does not work like this. I imagine there will be lots of ‘Champions of Europe, you’ll never sing that’.
Fascinated to see the response of Manchester City fans in stadium after international break. They should be furious with their ownership. Misled at every turn and staked the club’s name and reputation on it.

The 'critics' of the Prem still seeking to defend it when they cite past scandals in cycling and athletics, tacitly suggesting that breaking the rules of financial fair play is somehow less 'offensive' than doping. It isn't. It's all cheating.

It is not that the Sir Alex vs Pep debate is now over, it is that it was foolish it was even being had at all. His entire career is surrounding by both kinds of doping. Pep tested positive for PED's (nandrolone) as a player, six times the legal limit. Dr Segura, who worked with him at the time, joined him at Barcelona in 2009. Luis Garcia del Moral - who was 1 of the 3 doctors banned for life following Lance Armstrong's life ban - was a medical advisor to Barcelona. Del Moral is one of three doctors (Segura & Dr. Eufemiano Fuentes are the others) with links to doping who have ties to Barcelona. Manchester City were also fined THREE TIMES within the first 6 months of Pep's appointment for violations of anti-doping regulations. And I haven't even mentioned the Negreira corruption case with Barcelona, involving payments to a former refereeing chief. When someone shows you who they are, believe them.
😳 "The Sir Alex v Pep debate is now over." ❌ "I'd leave him out of the [G.O.A.T Premier League manager] conversation Rory Jennings makes a bold claim about Pep Guardiola's Man City legacy 👀
