He did nothing wrong, to all intents and purposes he's been a great husband & support to her. Yet she still nuked his family & home coz she wasn't "truly happy" and you want him to come defend her online. I pray this level of selfishness never finds you.
This is the only relevant part of this word salad. She broke up a perfectly good family simply because she wants to chase an idea of happiness that doesn't exist. We've seen this exact same excuse a million times, all the other stuff here is just fluff.
Elina Svitolina clarifies her previous post regarding her divorce from Gaël monfils:
"I just want to clarify my previous post a little, because I realised that not everyone, especially my international audience, fully understood what I was trying to say.
"In that post, I shared only one of the reasons that influenced my decision and made me reflect on my life and my future. But the truth is, there’s so much more to it, and it was never just about one thing.
"When you’ve been living through the reality of war for more than 4.5 years, experiencing so many different situations, emotions, and difficult moments, you naturally start seeing life differently. Your perspective changes, your values and priorities shift, and you begin to understand what you truly want out of life.
"At some point, I simply realised that I didn’t want to keep living a life where I wasn’t truly happy. And believe me, coming to this decision was anything but easy.
"I love and respect my husband very much. And I will always love and appreciate him for the person he is. That’s exactly why it was so important for me to be honest, both with him and with myself.
"It’s not always possible to explain everything behind such personal and difficult decisions in a single post. And honestly, some things are simply too personal to share publicly. That was and is my view on announcing the end of our marriage but as some of you saw, Gael’s career ended abruptly after he made the decision to stop based on our situation. Unfortunately he had many accusations thrown at him and he didn’t deserve that, so we jointly released a statement.
"I just hope this helps you understand a little better what I was trying to say but please be kind and understanding, this is incredibly tough for us both right now 💔"
The worst mistake? So men should've just destroyed pre industrial society just to prove a point??
The worst mistake patriarchy ever made was protecting women.
They should have sent women to war. Sent them to the mines. Let them see what war actually looks like.
Only the rich had freedom, education, and a voice. And rich women had it too. Their daughters had tutors, private schools, maids, dresses. No oppression. Just privilege.
If all men were so free and educated, why were they dying like dogs?
Why were MEN the laborers?
Why were MEN the farmers who couldn't read?
Why were MEN the miners dead at 30 with black lungs?
Why were MEN the soldiers blown apart in trenches?
If they were educated, why weren't they professors?
If they were free, why couldn't they refuse war?
If they had a voice, who heard them scream when they died?
There was NO freedom.
There was NO education.
There was NO voice.
There was only WORK. WAR. Diseases, plagues and DEATH.
That was 95% of men's lives.
What you call oppression was PROTECTION.
Men said: You stay home. You stay safe. I'll go die.
I'll die in the field. I'll die in the mine. I'll die in the war.
Men didn't oppress you. Men shielded you from a world that was killing them every day.
And you were so shielded, you started to think you were oppressed.
Patriarchy didn't oppress women. It protected women so well, women forgot what danger even was.
That's why you talk like this. You never saw the legs, the blood, the graves.
If you had, you'd have some gratitude.
He would've still probably shat himself in Baku & Austin and handed the title to Max
Some people will just follow anything. They literally decided on the punishment themselves coz there is no set punishment in Islamic law for what they did. Adultery & fornication carry lesser punishment and they were a married couple.

This is where you turn around and say a woman wearing makeup is also false consent.
A smart man once said there's a low level threat of violence in every single male on male interaction. The vast majority of women cannot even fathom that concept.
“Women talk a lot about how scared of male violence they are, but from their behavior it's clear they never actually consider it a possibility”
When I was eighteen I was out for the night with my bf and some friends, we were barhopping in Kings Cross. I was tipsy & occasionally lippy & obnoxious towards strangers (who were asking for it!).
My bf quietly & discreetly at one point during the night said “babe, I love you, but fuck sometimes I worry that you’re writing cheques I won’t be able to cash, if it comes to and I’m on my own”. I was like “wtf are you talking about?”
He literally had to explain to me that if I was being a fuckwit starting trouble, he’d obviously have to defend me if anything went down, and if I’m being a massive smart ass and it’s just like him & me & my best girlfriend, then he’s going to be in a fight on his own. All because I was being an antagonistic smart ass to some strangers who couldn’t take a joke.
The idea that I needed to be able to back up my words with violence if it came to it, was something that had literally never occurred to me. Ever.
It was a total revelation. Suddenly i realised talk wasn’t “cheap” in this context, it was expensive. The idea that I could effectively get him beaten up, or put him in real danger, by being a precocious little shit arguing with idiots because I could, was horrifying.
From then on I was extremely reluctant to ever argue with strangers or act like a smart ass unnecessarily, because I was suddenly keenly aware that the guys we were with could potentially be expected to pay with their lives for any poorly received flippant comments we made.
It really was totally novel to me. This isn’t how women see the world, at all.

Ideally, he wouldn't have reacted like this
But any guy is aware that when you shove another man, getting lightly swatted (or more) is 100% on the table, so they won't do it unless they're being intentionally aggressive

We don't live in the 60s. You're shoving a steroid user on an athletic scholarship in the middle of a football game. You have to understand that this inherently comes with a degree of danger
You're right, none of us know them. But we do know enough to understand what it means when a lady says she "wants to find herself" as a reason for divorce.
She's a public individual who publicised her relationship from day 1, and she's the one who shared the divorce and decided to give everyone a reason. So everyone has a right to an opinion on it.
Their "invisible wounds" pale in comparison to what their men are going through so their complaints will always ring hollow. Even more so for a multi millionaire who doesn't even live in Ukraine.
Max was still wiping the floor with Checo when the car was more suited towards the Mexican, there is no comparison here.
This is equivalent to fining him a ha'penny
Portugal have suspended Cristiano Ronaldo for 30 days and fined him around $285.
A Bola reports he will be eligible for selection in the November international window.
Setting aside your horrible opinion for a second, have you even seen Arsenal play this season? Them boys stink.
