San Francisco has failed at infrastructure for so long that reporters will look at a 25 story building and call it "inconceivable" and "sci-fi"
Even the sci-fi film "Big Hero 6" could not envision a San Francisco with tall buildings in the Marina.
In the real world, one is likely coming to the Marina Safeway site. No matter what politicians or people calling for a boycott want.

we should not be voting for public defender, city attorney, DA, treasurer, school board etc. these should be mayoral appointments. our present system of low-information voters building a city's government ad hoc means nobody is ever in charge, and accountability is impossible.
