I have zero respect for people who just wallop their hand up and go suddenly, "I'm a woman," and I want all the rights that a woman has, and I want to compete, say, in sport. I'm a 6 ft 4 in athlete sprinter, swimmer, whatever who's competed very mediocrely in male sport.
I now want to come in and crush women in swimming pools and in sprinting events and break all their records, perhaps irrevocably, just by saying, "I'm a woman." I think that is the absurdity you were talking about.
My response was to say, "Well, if it's limitless, why can't I then say whatever I want to say?" And you say immediately, as I knew you would, "Well, that's ridiculous." But my point is, you were being ridiculous.

And I want to know why that is ridiculous. We should be talking about actual women on International Women's Day. That's not crazy.

You really think men invented patriarchy to hold YOU down? You are too weak, too fragile, too irrelevant for men to waste invention on you.
Men invented patriarchy to protect their lands, food, money, resources, women and children FROM MEN.
500 years ago women didn't know what patriarchy was because it was SURVIVAL.
No police. No 911. No guns. No cell phones. If a rival tribe wanted you, they killed your men, raped you, took your land, took your food, and married you off to their sons or kept you as maids, servants, and sex slaves. That was history.
Patriarchy said: TOUCH HER AND YOU DIE. She belongs to this man, this family, this tribe. That was not oppression. That was a DEATH THREAT to other men to keep you safe.
Pregnancy = 9 months useless. Breastfeeding mother can't run, can't fight, baby cries and brings wolves.
Who hunted? MEN.
Who fought bears? MEN.
Who fought other men? MEN.
Who built houses in snow? MEN.
Who died in wars? 90% MEN.
If men left women alone to be "independent" in 1500, you would have gone EXTINCT in one winter. No food. No fire. No protection.
You are alive today because of patriarchy.

With due respect for all the work women do, I never come across women competing for such Rs 500/day jobs.
P.s. not many men do it too.
First men occupied all jobs then they cried all jobs are being done by us. Abey side ho ja na. Sit at home and do the jhadu pocha, women will take up all these jobs. In fact plenty of women already do these jobs in Western countries.
@FoundationAzad have trained marginalized women from Delhi's urban slums and sent them to Scandinavian countries where they are now driving trucks.
Any physical activity that men do women can do them too. It's no big deal. It's men who have been holding women back and dominating all jobs. If men sit at home, women can very easily take up all such mining and oil rig or construction or whatever work you think is very heavy. Physical strength varies from person to person but it has little to do with biological sex alone. Many men can be subdued within seconds by a woman who practices boxing or weight lifting. Stupid logic.
