Pitiful half. It's like watching two pub sides. We don't have a scooby what to do with the ball & then we leave gaps galore off of it. Our attempted through balls have especially been rotten. I can only hope for a second half like Palace but I'm fearing more of one like Villa.

44 years ago, this month in 1982, the film adaptation of my novel FIRST BLOOD debuted. I fondly recall the thrill of seeing it with an excited audience. It changed action movies, just as I had the goal of changing action novels.

Bellamy was well on course for his best individual season with us & then Souness just had to ruin it by sticking him out wide leading to the post-match Highbury fiasco. It says a lot that Bellamy was our joint top league scorer that season despite leaving in January.

Eight years ago today I was attending the launch of actress Angela Douglas' new novel, Josephine, with friends Valerie Leon & agent Barry Langford.
I miss Angela. She's in a home now and her memory is poor. Happy memories of many fun times together. I miss that Angela so much.
