So annoying not to win that but it was a steady performance & something to build on although I'm very worried about the next two. We just don't have anything up top.
A slight improvement on our recent first half performances albeit an extremely low bar. We look a little bit more like a unit. Burn's goal should've stood imo. The ball just can't stick to Osula & Wissa is just ghosting around.
Only us man 😭😭

Well he's certainly got no choice now with Joelinton's injury & Ramsey's suspension. The fact it's taken those things to happen to finally force his hand is a serious concern in itself.
👍🏽 Matthias Jaissle says he is working hard to try and play Nico Gonzalez and Sean Steur together:
🗣️ “Sean showed in the last match he can contribute a lot of good things into our game. He has so much potential.
🗣️ Yes, they (Steur & Nico) are similar players — definitely. But we need to find a way so that he is able to play more minutes - his progress is going in the right direction.”

Joelinton has without doubt ran his race with us now. He can't impact the midfield anymore & has become more & more injury prone. He peaked at Wembley which of course I'll forever be thankful for. I think the groin injury at Sunderland a couple years ago really hindered him.
🚨 Joelinton is set for a period on the sidelines after picking up an injury against Everton on Monday.
🗣️ “Unfortunately he’s injured. We need to make the final treatment plan with him & see how long he'll be out.”

I wouldn't be shocked one bit if it's someone who was close with Howe. Whoever it is needs to be dealt with sharpish.
So we have a player in the camp briefing against the manager. Regardless of your view of Jaissle, I think that’s inexcusable behaviour. I don’t want people like that at our club tbh. Say it with your chest instead of backstabbing the guy.
Makes me wonder who it is? #NUFC
Jaissle's on a hiding to nothing with stuff like this coming out. As much as Jaissle's system has it's clear flaws, the attitude of the players has been a disgrace. It feels like I'm back in early 2021 with us playing clueless hoofball & a mole in the camp leaking stories.

It has been THREE months since Jaissle joined.
If you think this level of performance is "expected" I don't know what to tell you.
No patterns of play & such a bad shape off the ball.
Transition is a buzz word, we are not being coached well.
Directionless dross. We're just a thick awfully coached side. I really fear for us & Jaissle in patricularly. His "vertical football" is just looking like Allardyce & Bruce hoofball atm. Steur the only one who find anyone in B&W...might be a good idea to start him Jaissle 🤔.
Pitiful half. It's like watching two pub sides. We don't have a scooby what to do with the ball & then we leave gaps galore off of it. Our attempted through balls have especially been rotten. I can only hope for a second half like Palace but I'm fearing more of one like Villa.

I’m quite surprised that Dalglish has it in him- he’s 75 now. But fair play to him
