21 years ago I named "Reddit" and everyone said it was a horrible name, but I insisted one day people would say "I read it on reddit" and used my CEO-privilege to overrule everyone + kept the name. Now the company twitter account (unbeknownst to them) is making the joke. Heh.

@statepharmamv has failed to deliver any of my father's prescriptions since taking over operations from STO. On May 11, I submitted my father's prescription for a critical medicine that costs over MVR 60 per tablet from the only available pharmacy. Not covered under aasandha 1/3

@bankofmaldives you gotta let me know in the notification what payment is being declined because of your daily limits 😩 I keep getting a notification and dont know which subscription it is 😓
Waited for over an hour on two separate occasions, but couldn’t get a single taxi neither through the apps nor from the street. Many taxis had their green lights on, with no passengers inside, yet they didn’t bother to stop.
But the moment I increased the fare to Rf 70 on app, voilà! 🤷♂️
So basically, with or without the MTCC taxi line, it’s still the same story. Only difference is more congestion.
Male’ taxi fleet available in sunshine, missing when the public needs them most. So what exactly is the difference from the ordinary taxi service?

when food prices hike: “eat gathudhiya aa bathaa”
when the dollar rate hikes: “stop foreign transactions.”
when there’s a medicine shortage: “stop getting sick.”
when floodwater enters your home: “build a new house.”
when traffic issues get out of control “ride a bicycle”
in this country the solution to every problem is simply for ordinary people to adjust their lives around governments’ failures. 🤨

The Sheikhs in this country so quite about child abuse cases! But they’l bark sermon after sermon when a young girl goes on a beauty pageant! Abolish all sheikhs plz 🤡
Good morning @Mamdooh_Yoonus. May you experience pain like period cramps today. Byeeeee
Also please let the people know why you deserve premium health insurance paid by us, while we have to do public fundraisers to fund our healthcare.
So, if all 93 @mvpeoplesmajlis members donated $100 each, Mr. Ali Ashfaq’s wife would easily get the funds she needs for her treatment, along with additional support for the trip to Egypt.
After all, these members enjoy free healthcare funded by the same taxpayers, including the taxes paid by Ali Ashfaq.
I will tag my constituency while everyone tags theirs. MP @nazim7878, please do the needful!
I would also like to tag the political parties that receive thousands and millions of rufiyaa through the same tax system and ask them to help Ashfaq out:
@MDPSecretariat @PNFront @pnc_secretariat @AdhaalathOffice @SecretariatMDA @JPSecretariat @MNP_Secretariat
Is there anyway to hold down this MP and strap him to a period cramp simulator? Asking for a friend.

MP @Mamdooh_Yoonus logic is quite something,
For ordinary citizens: “Taxpayers money shouldn’t be spent sending you abroad if the treatment is available in Maldives.”
For himself: Taxpayers fund a premium insurance package that allows him and his family to seek treatment abroad, including Dubai, Singapore and Turkey, even when that treatment is available in Maldives.
What kind of entitled, twisted logic is this?
Dear MP, if you genuinely believes what he said why do you keep taking a premium healthcare package with tax money ?
You cannot preach austerity for the public while enjoying privilege at their expense.
One rule for citizens. Another rule for MPs. And somehow the people paying the bill are the ones being lectured.
It was sad, though hardly surprising, to see you stoop so low as to serve PNC’s political interests by proposing changes to the e-petition rules just so PNC could launch its counter-petition.
But I didn’t think you would be shameless enough to come before the public and lecture people about how much the state spends on citizens healthcare while you yourself are a beneficiary of the most privileged healthcare packages funded by those very citizens.
Taxpayers pay for you to have premium healthcare coverage across more than 21 countries. You, your wife and your children can seek treatment in places such as Singapore, Thailand, Dubai and Turkey, with an annual coverage limit of around 1.3 million. You have access to CASHLESS treatment at over 650 hospitals across Asia, the Middle East and Europe. And we have to continue to give you the insurance till you die!
Meanwhile, your constituents are left running from one Gov office to another, calling MPs, ministries and anyone they can reach, trying to get approval or funding for treatment.
Not a single ordinary citizen in your constituency receives the healthcare package that you enjoy at their expense. Yet you have the audacity to lecture about how much the state spends on their healthcare?
When Ashfaq’s wife needs treatment, your argument as an MP and a public servant is that she can receive that treatment in India.
But when your own wife gets sick, taxpayers fund a package that allows you to seek treatment in Dubai, Singapore, Thailand or Turkey even when that treatment is available in Maldives or India.
Do you not see the hypocrisy and the double standard? Do you not see how ordinary citizens and you are treated differently? Do you not see that you are so desensitized to this discrimination you talk about this in public as if it’s normal and how it should be ?
So answer one simple question for the taxpayers who fund your benefits:
Why do you deserve a premium, cashless healthcare package worth around 1.3 million, covering hospitals across Asia, the Middle East and Europe, while the Maldivians you represent are expected to make do with Aasandha?
@Mamdooh_Yoonus
Good morning to everyone, except @Mamdooh_Yoonus . I hope he gets hemmorhoids which never goes away. May he step on a lego every day. Amen.
