@BC_Lostproperty @savetaxi We left a grey “Away” suitcase in the front seat of a black cab that had picked us up in Pimlico this morning (Thursday) around 10am. The contents were of huge sentimental value. Let us know if you found it or handed it in to lost property! Thanks!
All our valuables are home safe and sound. Thank you so much @BC_Lostproperty !
Hey @United, big day for me! Getting ready to board my million-mile flight. Feels like I should be feted with champagne, or undergo some variant of those “crossing the equator” hazing rituals. Instead? I get a middle seat in economy. #mileageplus or #mileageminus?
In @TIBCO's inaugural session of #DrDataScience, we asked what exactly #DeepLearning is good for, and when it's a waste of CPU cycles.

Proud of @Dan_Streetman and the @TIBCO team for leveraging what they do best -- deep data analytics -- to help combat #coronavirus. Terrific interview with Dan outlining how the tools work and why they're making them available to all for free.

Great real world example of using data science to protect human health, and prevent disease transmission. Using #TIBCO #DataScience tools to model the outbreak and demographics helped drive real change with the FDA.

It’s not just that we happen to be deployed on @awsmarketplace - we’re deeply embedded in the AWS exosystem. From #SageMaker to #S3 storage and beyond. #ReInvent
You can’t automate #DataScience. It’s an art. But you can automate the routine work...cleaning data, establishing baseline models. Hence #TIBCODataScience AutoML. Think of it not so much as your Data Robot replacement, more as your Data Assistant... – at Paddington, London

Amazing work, @AnneStuhldreher, @FairFinesFees and @TreasurerSF! That we put fees before families is absurd. How do we expect successful re-entry from jail or prison when there's crushing gov't debt to pay? #DebtFreeJustice
Thanks @courtwrites for @nytopinion Fixes article about our work in SF and throughout California to put families before fees! Incredible leadership across CA from @HollyJMitchell @LondonBreed & @CaDebtJustice. The time is now for #DebtFreeJustice! nyti.ms/2J5MRDI
Love @Wikipedia: on a bus, reading the history of Denver on my phone. Hate @Wikipedia: why do I feel like I’m reading a 9th-grade school report in which a parent has occasionally intervened? – at Denver, CO

Grading my students' "ethnographic fieldnotes" on DC diaspora spaces, and I continue to feel that perhaps the most important learning comes from engaging with various "strangers" in our midst. It's almost a peacebuilding intervention.
At first I was troubled by Google's #SmartCompose feature — coercing everyone to write the same as everyone else. But no! It's a cliché-avoidance feature! Whenever Google tries to finish my sentence for me, I force myself to think of a way to say it differently.
