Very exciting to visit @nplschool and view their new polytunnel, joined by the Mayor, The Lord Feoffees and @Steezy78. We had a tour of the school grounds and then hunted for potatoes. @bridtowncouncil @RHSSchools @TreeCouncil @YorksWildlife @BridFreePress @bridlingtonecho

This week our #TeamWilder groups in & around Hull joined us at @RootedinHull to celebrate the amazing actions they've been taking for wildlife, supported by YWT staff & @HeritageFundUK.
We made wildflower seed balls & bunting, enjoyed pizza & a tour of the farm!

The Yellow Rattle has really taken off in our meadow this year - a wide variety of wildflowers are appearing. It will self-sow successfully, but seed was collected for sowing in autumn. @Steezy78 @nplschool @YorksWildlife @RHSSchools @TheTreeCouncil #meadow @GreatSciShare

I enjoyed this so much today. There’s such a close connection between connecting with nature, being outdoors and mental well-being. 🍁
Me & @SpurnAndyG spent time with @MindHEY staff & trustees today exploring ways we can find connections between nature & mental health to create benefit for people & wildlife. Are we ready for change in urban spaces? Our survey says…@YorksWildlife #teamwilder #wellbeing #nature

Labelling a huge chunk of British society as the 'anti-growth coalition' because they believe in environmental protections and workers rights is straight out of the populist playbook
