Brain scans of dogs have shown that they enjoy receiving praise as much as they enjoy receiving sausages.

Been for a flu jab. Going to get steroid injections in both knees at some point. Trump is still alive. It's just pricks everywhere today.

The Eastgate Clock is my most detailed print yet. It started as a commission and isn't my usual subject matter, but it became a real labour of love. Now in my shop in a range of sizes. gailmyerscough.co.uk/product…

Gary Oldman giggling at farts dubbed into his movies, then laughing 'til the tears roll down his cheeks, may well be the happiest minute of your day!

Nobody did it better than Roger Moore, born today in 1927. 🍸 "I had an absolute splendid time doing the Bond films. I played a lot of backgammon, managed to steal a lot of wardrobe, and got well paid. Nothing could beat it!"

There are more ketchup sachets than nurses. More operational Furbies than professors of human geography. More dogs named "Digger" than people licensed to operate a JCB. And you ask why people are turning to Reform?

🚨NEW VIDEO🚨 Was Stanwick Hillfort the site of a heroic last stand against the Romans? Or the Royal fortress of the most powerful Celtic Queen in Britain? The story of one of Britain's largest Iron Age hillforts is full of twists and turns. Link below 👇

This isn’t just a river & canal, a cattle market & railway station. It's a modernist artwork: Swirls of colour and dark lines swish around calming boxy shapes in tranquil pinks. It feels alive! In a way, it represents life, movement and the power of humanity over the landscape.
Great dreams built by man; Bristol (SE) 1882. Andrew here. I might bang on about how beautiful maps are (because they are when you really look at them!), but you probably agree a fair bit if you’re following us. So here’s a slice of heaven; a piece of the mundane made majestic!

A much needed and enjoyable break in London, thanks to an old school freind. Overshadowed by my dad being unwell, but he still sounds in good spirits!

COMING FRIDAY 7PM Stanwick is one of the largest Iron Age hillforts in Britain, and at the centre of one of the most dramatic episodes in Roman Britain. I'll explore the story of Cartimandua, Queen of the Brigantes, and whether this hillfort was once her royal court
i could be your ancient celtic queen...not dark but beautiful and terrible as the dawn...

Update on dad: he's in for a few days. Kidney issues mean they have to see if they can do an angiogram to check his heart. He's in fair spirits. X

Dad's had a suspected heart attack. Staying in overnight for observation. He sounds in good spirits, but it would be quite nice not to be a few hundred miles away right now. Watching them get old is, I know, the least worst option, but it's still awful.
