If you see this screenshot and don't immediately star Sley on GitHub.com/sley-lang you'll have bad luck forever.
I don't make the rules. 🤷♂️
Your AI agent's new favorite language just got cheaper. 💸
Sley 2.1.4: the agent write→test→fix loop costs ~3x fewer tokens than 2.1.3, and beats Python by 27% on typo fixes.
Plus loops up to 2x faster. Same reproducible build.

The excuses to not use #SleyLanguage for all your vibe coding needs are running out!
Big breakthroughs for Sley!
The Sley release demo exports a program and clones it into a second directory, then checks that the clone answers byte for byte. Run it with the Linux release package and Python 3.

Very exciting news for Sleylang.org - our founder @GreyforgeTech is going to drive adoption using a new game that is perfectly catered to Sley's strengths.
Sley Arena, bots written in Sley will battle it out in a 2D space. Coming soon!
Sley 2.1.3 is here ⚡
fib(30): 2,739 ms → 210 ms. That's 13x faster than last week.
Function calls now run on the fast VM path, and loops are up to 3.6x quicker. Same reproducible build.

Euclid would be proud. 🧮
Sley 2.1.2 is live: a, b = b, a % b finally works on function params, and the new test supervisor ships with 106 specified diagnostics and 28 tested refusal paths.

A Sley commit leaves a receipt. The transaction stages and verifies immutable objects, syncs the evidence to disk, then advances the head atomically. Every accepted change has a specific state to inspect.

Let's see, ZJX.app new and best compression standard, sleylang.org fully self hosted AI native programming language, dozens of open source utilities, paid products, and lots of stuff in the pipeline or being researched 24/7 - yeah I'd say I got it, Doc
Sley began with human-readable source. The 1.2.0 Chronicle records the decision to make typed program state the foundation of the next language line, while people retain control over policy and acceptance.

Clone a Sley program and its state root comes with it exactly. Identity belongs to the typed graph, so reaching the same state through a different history gives the same root.

Sley builds its toolchain again, then once more. In the 2.1 self-hosting proof, all three builds produced identical bytes on the pinned Linux host. The final two ran with the Rust seed compiler absent.
Repeat the build: sleylang.org/docs
29 days from first commit to release, across 1,256 commits. The Sley 2.0 Chronicle follows the move to typed program state and the deterministic kernel that checks every proposed change.

Today is "Dev Day" @GreyforgeLabs
We have several things releasing all on the same day.
1. Makoto Episode 2 - this one is huge, best AI anime on the Internet, no one has challenged the title. Certainly the most technically impressive. @greyforgetech
2. ZJX Basic for Linux - Windows release maybe another week. @zjxstandard
3. ForgeFactory + Demo - a product that turns your machine into a true "Dark Factory". Just turn it on, and it will start researching and pumping out products, research, etc. Zero HITL.
4. CodePet - an Omarchy native (and Linux compatible) pet that has real needs, will code for you, and can actually level up (and die!). Fully animated with up to 15 types of pets 🐱🐶🦎🐢. Open source. @nixfred
