It is now three years since Shabana FC returned to the Kenya Premier League after spending 17 years outside the top tier. Since then, the club’s progress has become a topic of discussion in the streets, with many fans and football followers acknowledging the positive steps being made both on and off the pitch. One of the developments is Shabana FC’s partnership with Oasis Health Hospitals. Oasis provides medical cover worth about KSh 8.8 million annually for the players and technical bench. Shabana players today can access to comprehensive healthcare, emergency treatment, ambulance support, medical supervision and nutrition services. According to our records, Shabana FC became the first SportPesa Premier League club to secure medical cover of this nature for its players. @OasisHospital2 @Dollar__SM @KmpdcOfficial @Kenyans @Kmtc_official @DrBKhalwale @johnnjenga @kmpdu @AokoOtieno_ @ItsMutai @Osama_otero @AbalaWilliam #Shabanafc

Yesterday, Nyayo National Stadium witnessed a huge turnout of fans as AFC Leopards faced Shabana FC in an entertaining match that ended in a 0–0 draw. The attendance was encouraging, but one question has started the debate: Why do some fans attend local league matches wearing Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool jerseys instead of supporting the teams playing on the pitch? Shabana FC has made its supporters' jerseys available at less than KSh 1,800. That raises a genuine question: if we can spend money on European football merchandise, why not invest in the teams that represent us here at home? There is nothing wrong with supporting European clubs. We all have the freedom to support whichever teams we love. However, when attending a Kenyan Premier League match, wouldn't it be more meaningful to wear the colours of the teams playing? Our local clubs need more than packed stadiums. They need visible support, merchandise sales, sponsorship appeal and a loyal fan base that can help them grow financially. Imagine Nyayo Stadium filled with red ,Blue and white for Shabana, or blue and white for AFC Leopards. Imagine every club enjoying the kind of identity and merchandise culture we associate with major European teams. We cannot keep demanding that our local football improves while overlooking the simple ways we can contribute to its growth. Supporting local football starts with us. Buy the jersey, wear the colours, fill the stands and make Kenyan football a source of pride. winner. @TheElephant2023 @GameYetu @uchere_ @KeleledigitalK @faridazmaritim @bonvee046 @Juliohwachirah @MpashoNews @DanChepta @KangwanaMedia @ke_score @SportyFMKE @VuukaFM @dishon_onditi @Ndichumuhammedh @spotike @WycliffeAburi @Osama_otero @Sam_Lulli @Momanyielijah01 @Dollar__SM @TeyaKevin @davis_oira #AsanteniSana
