Nothing changes if nothing changes. Lance was good enough to get us out of the absolute gutter of the Big 12 but it’s never going to get better than this.
Do something @tgoff11

I still cant believe we’ve sacrificed 4 years of Bill Selfs career for this pathetic ass football program.
0-8 vs rivals is simply unacceptable. Everyone in the the football program should be ashamed of themselves. But hooray, we got a new stadium no one is going to show up in.

Truly a nightmare spot to be as a program. Feels like we are stuck in mediocrity with no clear path forward.
Lance is good enough to keep us relevant. But clearly not a guy that can take us to the next step.
But not sure we are finding anything better. Brutal

I just want KU to consistently be a bowl team. Is that too much to ask for?

Look at all these basketball schools becoming relevant in football because of coaching changes. Indiana last year, and now Kentucky and UCLA.
Why can’t we have that same turnaround in Lawrence?

Shoutout to @JalonDaniels6 for getting his first NFL career win.
Rock Chalk, Jayhawk!

Super senior Tre White would have a senior Jalen Wilson-like impact on this team. He would score a ton. He would rebound a ton. He would be their emotional leader. Did you watch him play in the summer league? A legitimate Big 12 POY candidate if there ever was one.

This is obviously hindsight, but the 2024 season was the dagger in the Leipold era. There was REAL hype entering that year. KU was coming off 9 wins and a bowl victory, ranked No. 22 in the preseason AP Poll and picked 4th in the Big 12.
That team was way better than its record, but completely melted down in the 4th quarter week after week. Then, just to make it even more frustrating, they ended the year beating three straight ranked teams 😂

I made this point last week. He has done Kansas a huge service getting it from where it was to where it is. Earned every dollar. But not much evidence so far he can take to next level.

Lance Leipold deserves a ton of credit for what he’s done at Kansas. He took this program from the projects to the lower middle class. But I’m starting to believe this is the ceiling. KU needs to decide how serious it is about taking the next step.

first time Ive said fire lance. he built this program back from nothing but he puts absolutely pathetic performances every time we play a rival. absolutely gutless. fucking coward

We have a football program that hasn’t made a bowl game since 2023, can’t win any meaningful game, and a basketball program that hasn’t made the second weekend in 4 years. Seriously asking — when does it get better?

I thank Lance for bringing us out of dumpster fire to where we are now. He completely changed the culture, got us new facilities, jerseys, and better brand awareness.
But I fear we have hit the peak of performance.

How awesome has this story been? So happy for Jalon, who was as loyal to KU as anybody and now becomes the first Jayhawk QB in almost 40 years to make an NFL roster.
Sources: The #Bucs are moving forward with UDFA QB Jalon Daniels as their backup QB to Baker Mayfield, as he’s impressed throughout camp. A true find and a very cool story.

I am once again claiming Kansas as the 2019-2020 men’s basketball champion. Unanimous #1 across all end of season polls with a 15 game winning streak and a Big12 chip.
NEW: Missouri has officially claimed its first College Football national championship, the school announced🏆
The Tigers' 1960 team won the Big Eight and appeared at No. 1 in the AP poll.
