News: KU coach Bill Self tells the Journal-World that former Purdue forward Trey Kaufman-Renn has joined the Jayhawks for the upcoming season. KU had a roster spot open because freshman forward Grant Mordini suffered a season-ending injury to his patellar tendon last month.

Yeah, there’s no doubt in my mind Taylen Kinney will be a starter. I absolutely love the pace he plays with, his court vision and passing ability. He also has a nice little pull-up middy. I think a lot of people are sleeping on how good this kid really is. He’s a dude.
