Very excited to partner with Evry Health to introduce an outcomes-based mental healthcare model. "Focusing on outcomes is the way mental healthcare – and healthcare in general – should be delivered now and in the future." meruhealth.com/company-updat…

state's w lowest hosp bed capacity/10k AND above average pop over 65 =AZ, NM, IA, MA, MT, OR, VT, WI, WY. NC and SC are like FL with a lot of bed capacity. GA has a younger avg pop. One might conclude caution was needed in these states from the beginning on this alone

COVID to drive #health ins prem increases of 20%+ next year and push hospital staffing models to the brink of sanity. Are we being honest? Are the emerging data flowing into collaborative dialog and plans? My analysis here - bit.ly/2z7TMct #leadership #healthcare
Think of #physician bundled payment in a different way - make better use of #HealthIT and solve for the social determinants #sdoh - read more here bit.ly/2wr7E09
Demand efficient & better coordination of #care across all interactions not silo of 1 physician,1 trauma, 1 #DigitalHealth solution. The WHOLE #PatientExperience must be coached in a proactive thoughtful & empathetic way bit.ly/2OwsUu5 #pinksocks #hclr @Evry_Healthcare

Pause a moment & marvel at the awesomeness of #health innovators, things like #PrecisionMedicine, #nanotechnology & helping the paralyzed w/ exoskeleton suit - & to the strength and fortitude of the impacted patients. Bravo! You all inspire me. @cnnhealth cnn.it/2uLXtCK
Simpler answer - incorporate and coordinate the single wellness program in an intelligent, purposeful manner with all the other #wellness and chronic #disease management efforts. If you don't coordinate the #care, then seriously don't bother - you're wasting your money and time

#digitalhealth alone cannot bring about behavior change. IMHO need an integrated effort w care teams & benefit incentives that use tech to guide, coach, & educate. Digital / #mhealth is not a solution by itself, but a means to address #sdoh like sleep, diet, exercise. #hcldr
The issue isn’t digital health...we expect too much. Expecting an app/IPad/platform to CHANGE behavior alone is flawed. But using digital health to inform/enable care teams is smart. We have to stop thinking that automation by removing the human element is a smart business plan

Stopping inappropriate and unnecessary ER use requires use of #telehealth that includes #sdoh based empathy and knowledge. #patient engagement incentives and penalties too. How about a coordinated approach? xitter.cf/NHSEngland/status/1010…
More than 9 million people were sent home from A&E in 2016/17 with just advice which they could have got from a pharmacist or by calling 111. Give something back to the NHS for its 70th birthday and pledge to use services wisely. ow.ly/9dcX30kA4Nm #NHS70 #NHS70pledge
great to see the focus, the energy, and #VC $ trying to innovate and change #healthcare. I applaud those taking bold strides on poly-chronic care management & #patientengagement, #DataAnalytics And #value #vbc hceg.org/recapping-the-2018-…

In a value-based-care environment, there are overarching, common goals between a care provider and health plan. It makes sense to work together. bit.ly/2E4W7XD #convergence #JoyofMedicine #physicianburnout
