Very excited to partner with Evry Health to introduce an outcomes-based mental healthcare model.
"Focusing on outcomes is the way mental healthcare – and healthcare in general – should be delivered now and in the future."

Here's to 2021: Where we spark joy in others, celebrate a bit more & pause to be grateful more; Here's to efforts at compassion, #gratitude, empathy leading to more #collaboration, more progress and innovation, advancing toward our collective goal of a better #healthcare system
I'm feeling really fortunate to be on the Board of an organization doing such great work, improving #mentalhealth through Shakespeare-focused theater and free productions now with a youtube channel! bit.ly/3laFt9m
Election fraud or not, Covid shutdowns or not, all I know is I'm truly passionate about trying each day to advance & transform #healthcare. We make progress, face obstacles, need some patience, we get through it. Rinse and repeat. bit.ly/35BTXuE #ValueBasedHealthCare
Best practice for value based contracts? Sufficient, not perfect, #data! Understand the issues your partners are facing! Be able to measure outcomes with transparency and timeliness! Patience!

Covid forced adoption of #telehealth. Now, price transparency rules are forcing #ValueBasedCare even tho we in #healthcare have struggled with it for decades. Here are some thoughts on best practices to take on this journey

state's w lowest hosp bed capacity/10k AND above average pop over 65 =AZ, NM, IA, MA, MT, OR, VT, WI, WY. NC and SC are like FL with a lot of bed capacity. GA has a younger avg pop. One might conclude caution was needed in these states from the beginning on this alone
Great example of how #DataAnalytics and #DataScience can be used to improve #healthcare - making it proactive and targeted. Love the work folks like @BiobotAnalytics are doing in this space. #pinksocks #hcldr
This graph is amazing. It shows that measuring #SARSCoV2 levels in municipal sewage almost perfectly predicts forthcoming #COVID19 cases with a full week's notice (R=0.994). It's one of several discoveries in this new study from @Yale: medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/…. C-19 is #InThePoop
I had not seen this graphic before and it looks eerily similar to the model I created about a month back. Wow. The similarities to 1918 are amazing, including the social whipsaw and over eagerness to party/congregate. 1919 was a disaster. Will we learn before 2021?

COVID to drive #health ins prem increases of 20%+ next year and push hospital staffing models to the brink of sanity. Are we being honest? Are the emerging data flowing into collaborative dialog and plans? My analysis here - bit.ly/2z7TMct #leadership #healthcare

I agree @wolfejosh @SwissTrades - the last 3 days have seen US new cases accelerate once again from what was looking like a recovery....now, I dont know. But it cant be good for loans, buying power, economic strength - all the risk is in the downside

today's new #covid patient count nationally went up 35,000 - making it the third day in a row of increases above the low-20k range we had been in and the third consecutive day of sequential increases (32, 34, 35). Is this another spike coming?
#COVID observation - second day in a row of new patient totals in the 34,000 range.....breaking the prior (declining) pattern during last week into this week of mid- to low-20k. this is worrisome to me. Anyone else see this? #Health #healthcare #pinksocks #hcldr
Thoughts? @henrymcmaster @JohnBelforLA @BrianKempGA @JBPritzker @MikeDeWine @GregAbbott_TX @kevin_stitt
Adding to previous thoughts... analysis published in @JAMA_current like this one bit.ly/3dASJBE say in a pandemic all hospitals get overwhelmed without hard public health policy, like social distancing. This tracker shows theres a long way to go bit.ly/33ZmJ64
