slop isn't the exception to human creativity. it's the rule.
it's human human nature. believing otherwise is a curatorial illusion. we produce mountains of mediocrity so we have something worth discovering, celebrating, and calling a trend.
history curated the highlights. algorithms amplify what gets attention. the rest fades into obscurity.
digital cameras gave us photo slop. blogs gave us writing slop. social media gave us meme and trend slop.
AI didn't invent slop. it just lowered the cost of producing it.

Our first success and it's a biggie!
async.art has been successfully rebooted by our very own @BardIonson! It's bare bones but the art is saved and a lot of the functionality restored.
It's a work in progress but we couldn't be prouder! π
