New paper🚨: Ever wonder how plants talk to fungi? When plants are low on phosphate (Pi), they exude #Strigolactones (SLs) in soil to obtain Pi from microbes. We show a broad range of fungi in soil respond to SLs 👇 Is the SL response in fungi conserved? authors.elsevier.com/a/1jsQB…

Just received a conformation that I’ve been promoted to Associate Prof with tenure. Grateful for the support of my colleagues and excited to continue research at UofT. Most importantly, I would never achieve it without my amazing lab members and collaborators. Thank you so much!

I learned today that the warranty for Baker biosafety cabinets starts on the day of manufacturing, not the day of purchase or installation. If you get a brand new Baker BSC that was sitting in a warehouse for a year, you lose a year of warranty although paying full price 😠
