The U.S. government continues to engage with #Venezuela, and is now deporting Venezuelans to Caracas on two direct “ICE Air” flights a week, on top of the regular Conviasa flights that continue to pick up deportees from Honduras.
✈️👀 ICE Air heading to Venezuela from El Paso after connecting from Harlingen. In June the 2 flights to Venezuela per week did not use Honduras as a transfer point to a Venezuela plane, except for 2 flights through Gitmo. So it appears that Venezuela is now accepting 2 direct ICE Air planes each week.

@ImmDef went to his imm court hearing Monday and received confirmation from ICE that he has been “removed” to El Salvador. The Judge asked “how has he been removed if there is no removal order?” And the ICE attorney responded that they did not know.

Quise esperar unos días antes de analizar la invocación de la Ley de Enemigos Extranjeros. No quería hacerlo sin antes leer a fondo, entender las actualizaciones y revisar distintas perspectivas. Por eso, analicé más de 10 estudios, leí 30 páginas de documentación y utilicé inteligencia artificial para resumir otras 120 páginas sobre el tema. Ahora quiero que entiendan el motivo de mi crítica:
📌 Estamos hablando de una ley que se utilizó durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial para justificar el internamiento de más de 120,000 japoneses-americanos en campos de concentración. Décadas después, Estados Unidos reconoció ese error histórico y pidió disculpas. Sin embargo, en 2025, están intentando revivirla para aplicarla contra inmigrantes venezolanos.
🔴 Ahora, un punto clave:
Sí, es cierto que esta ley permitió que EE.UU. designara formalmente a Nicolás Maduro y al Cártel de los Soles como una red criminal transnacional, vinculándolos con narcotráfico, corrupción y violaciones sistemáticas de derechos humanos. Se les acusa de operar como un cartel de droga con conexiones directas con grupos terroristas y organizaciones criminales, utilizando el Estado venezolano para facilitar el tráfico de cocaína hacia EE.UU. y Europa.
🚨 Pero aquí está el problema:
Nada de esto justifica aplicar una ley de guerra que puede poner en riesgo a miles de venezolanos que no tienen ningún vínculo con el TDA.
Y aquí viene algo que muchos parecen no procesar:
🔹 Se puede reconocer la existencia del Tren de Aragua como una organización criminal activa en varios países.
🔹 Y, al mismo tiempo, se puede cuestionar el uso de medidas que violan el debido proceso contra venezolanos que no tienen ninguna relación con ellos.
⚠️ El punto fundamental:
EE.UU. NO está en guerra con Venezuela. Aplicar esta ley en este contexto no tiene sentido y abre la puerta a detenciones arbitrarias, perfilamiento racial y errores irreparables contra quienes han llegado al país en busca de refugio.
