Serious question for Washington Non-Profit, Government, and Politician/Representative accounts. Considering who this site is owned by and what they use it for, why do you continue to post here?

25 years ago, Initiative 695 gutted funding for public transit and ferries in Washington state. Its devastation left impacts from Sequim to Seattle to Spokane that are still felt today. Don’t let I-2117 be this generation’s I-695. Vote No.

The Denny Way Repaving project just went to bid today. Missing from the plan: Any transit priority on one of the slowest and least reliable bus corridors in the city See the plans here: drive.google.com/file/d/1Gvp…

An unpleasant reminder that the housing supply crisis in blue state urban metros isn't just a moral quandary for Dems, it's an electoral one as well

The Economist just published a deeply-researched story about car bloat, and it's very, very damning: "For every life that the heaviest 1% of SUVs and trucks save, there are more than a dozen lives lost in other vehicles." Well worth your time: economist.com/interactive/un…

Just another @SoundTransit light rail extension opening. First one in Snohomish County NBD. Executive Dave Somers welcomes light rail to @snocounty - finally! 1/

Replying to @kcexec
@kcexec and @MayorofSeattle once again using baseless renderings to sell real estate and alter @SoundTransit to make transit service worse for riders and miss a generational opportunity for a 4th Ave & Jackson mobility hub.

I’m at northgate station and maybe running trains with “Lynnwood” as the final destination and having signs on platforms that show trains going to Lynnwood before opening the Lynnwood extension was a mistake. People are definitely trying to board the train to Lynnwood.

How does Metro Vancouver build rapid transit for less than many other cities in North America? Short elevated stations that are attractive, but highly standardized. Compare to Northgate station in Seattle which looks like it could easily be twice as tall!
