I would say the flow and overall feel of the Seattle Christmas Market was definitely improved this year.
That said, having spent a week in Germany this month going to Christmas Markets, the main takeaway is how expensive the Seattle one is.
Absolute lunacy that @MayorofSeattle and @SoundTransit are going to blow the opportunity to make this the gateway into Seattle as a new transit hub with a 4th Ave & Jackson ST3 light rail station. A truly generational mistake
T-Mobile (Seattle Mariners) surprisingly far down the list. But honestly for me it’s the overall experience that’s worse than the distance. Narrow sidewalks, a needless loop ramp that just leads to stairs and a major road crossing. Lots of room for improvement
All the back and forth on this by @seattledot, @WaterfrontSEA, and the Pioneer Square Preservation Board has really jacked up the Yesler/Western intersection unnecessarily.
It was originally supposed to be an even curb along Yesler with bulb outs on Western aligning crossings

Then, with the bike lane introduced (a major win), a notch in the curb on Yesler was for some reason introduced and the bulb on Western for some reason went away?

Seattle area people! Do you know how to get to the Pike Place Market Garage without driving through Pike Place Market?

@kcexec and @MayorofSeattle once again using baseless renderings to sell real estate and alter @SoundTransit to make transit service worse for riders and miss a generational opportunity for a 4th Ave & Jackson mobility hub.

The picture the plan paints is very nice and I genuinely would love to see it unfold that way, but the main point here is that rerouting the @SoundTransit station away from 4th Ave & Jackson is not integral for this redevelopment nor big enough benefit to harm transit ridership
