We want to express our solidarity with the trans community at this time - our branch recently passed a motion condemning the supreme court ruling and EHRC guidance.
Trans women are women; trans men are men; intersex, gender-diverse and non-binary people exist; all deserve respect, dignity and the right to use whichever facilities best fit their affirmed gender.
You can find more info and our motion here:

🚨Help Bonaventure To Avoid Eviction🚨
A black housing worker with precarious immigration status, was permanently removed from the locum (part-time) bank.
He has no recourse to public funds and has no income. He is currently being threatened with eviction for rent arrears.
He has not been able to pay his rent, bills or buy food and is currently relying on food banks.
✊ Bonaventure needs our support ✊
Can you help Bonaventure avoid being evicted and donate to his fundraiser?

Pleased that @UniteHousing branch passed a motion in support of @palyouthmvmt 'Mask Off Maersk' campaign 🇵🇸
Maersk handles and supplies arms to Israel, used in the genocide in Gaza and facilitates exports from illegal settlements 😤
Maersk must cut ties with genocide ✋🇵🇸

Housing workers in @haringeycouncil are on all-out strike over 10 years without a pay rise. Despite years of broken promises, no meaningful negotiations have taken place.
