On arrival, 1x 25yr old horse was found on his side inside a stable. This made access quite difficult but crews managed to get the...1/2

Poor Amigo, the donkey, was stuck in a storm drain in Market Drayton today. 🫏😱
Crews from Market Drayton, Hodnet, and Wellington including the Rescue Tender were able to use straps and lines to help pull Amigo out safely and return him to his owner. 😀

INCIDENT: At 10:22 mobilised to Large Animal Rescue with @SFRS_dsalvoni Amigo the donkey had his rear legs stuck in a drain. Requested specialist animal rescue team @SFRS_Wellington and @FireHodnet for personnel. Amigo pulled free using strops & lines. @SFRS_Control @shropsfire
