Tomorrow it will be all forgotten, so let me tell you now - today’s @yorkshiremarathon was my fastest marathon in over nine years, and my fifth fastest ever (out of twenty-nine). Take that, inexorable march of time!

Get it while it’s hot! Sponsor my #yorkshiremarathon for @ParkinsonsUK before the day is out - and my knee gives out.

Not often I get an afternoon run in, but this was a much needed run along the shore. Good luck to all doing the Yorkshire marathon this weekend @RunComPod

Four weeks ago I was limping and went to see a physio
Three weeks ago I had a very flu-y cold. Missing my last two long runs of my training
On Saturday I left work early because I was shivering then sweated in bed all evening
On Sunday I ran my first marathon.
Still feel lucky!

Hot Chip’s cover of Dancing In The Dark is one of the greatest songs to run to. If you haven’t dug in during the last lap of a flat-out parkrun listening to it, you’re missing out. That was me at Leazes Parkrun. Thank you marshals, well done fellow parkrunners and -walkers.

Fabulous Saturday at @Princesparkrun with Aidan training for @RunWales Conwy Half Marathon followed by a road/not-road Borders League race up and down Llandegla Forest. Not a bad one! #yourweekendruns

Another Sunday, another lush run in my home town. The #vitalitylondon10000 was wonderful - like the London Marathon but much, much shorter. Yes please!

Well @DeeringJulia joined me and did her first @parkrunUK at @HHparkrun today! Then she swam - I did not join her…

This picture catches the magic of @HHparkrun on a sunny Saturday very nicely…
