Surgical correction of angular limb deformity in a young dog. Asynchronous injury to the growth plates of the bones results in an angular forelimb, causing joint pain and limb dysfunction if left uncorrected. (See thread for post-op images)

Saw my race pic from last weekend’s trail run and thought, I look like death!
Then I remembered I’d spent the night in the ER with kidney stones, was running on zero sleep and by this point in the race, the lovely pain meds from the hospital had worn off and I wasn’t feeling especially spiffy.
I think this is probably my favorite race pic ever!!! It reminds me we can do hard things! Thanks to my friend, Donna for the terrific pic!!!🥰
