I had a blast as always chatting with Myriam about the latest mobile news and we had a lengthy discussion on our personal laptop history including some obscure treasures in our collections.
How about a trip down @laptopmag memory lane? Listen to @RileySeanM and me on episode 437 of my #MobTechCast as we compare @Apple's #MacBooks and wax poetic about our first computers :) Then stay for some tri-fold news and a @cmfbynothing watch... Fun! worldpodcasts.com/apple-macb…

Congratulations to Judge Susan Crawford on her victory, and to the people of Wisconsin for electing a judge who believes in the rule of law and protecting our freedoms.

If you’re one of the millions of people shopping for a laptop, it can be hard to sift through manufacturer specs, speeds, feeds, and specious performance claims. That’s what we’re here for. laptopmag.com/articles/lapto…

Laptop Mag: 100% non-AI reviews since 1991

Seeing people misusing Apple Vision Pro in public had me thinking about Google’s One Day video for Glass. Still not there. youtu.be/5R1snVxGNVs?si=_rs3…
Is there really not already a 3rd party accessory to run the Apple Vision Pro cord behind your head? It would both look less idiotic and get it out of the way of your arm.
New robocall trend that drives me crazy, fake typing sounds as it “thinks” about what you just said. It’s one step away from having it pretend to go talk to its manager.
This seems wildly inaccurate from Kuo. This not only exceeds every projection for production, but today I can still pre-order a Vision Pro pickup at my local Apple Store for Feb 4, and I’ve seen the same from many others. They have not sold through their first production run.
The Apple Vision Pro pre-order resale market will be fun to watch over the next couple of weeks. There is currently a $9,499.01 delta between the most and least expensive listings.
I’m sure there will come a day when AVP instantly means Apple Vision Pro to me, but we’re still not there.
A product that doesn’t really have a proven market, is considerably more expensive than the existing competition, and you have to show up to the company’s store so they can fit it on you. Apple Vision Pro Explorer Edition would sound more fitting.
The thing I’m most excited about with Apple Vision Pro is the tell-all book about the project in 10 years.
I’m not at #GalaxyUnpacked , but I did get my hands on the #GalaxyS24Ultra already. The subtle design changes are great and the AI features are actually useful. I can’t wait to dig in for my full review.
We named the XREAL Air 2 Ultra the best VR/AR/XR tech of #CES2024 @laptopmag. One of the first products I saw at CES this year, but it remains one of the most amazing and has me incredibly excited for what’s to come in the rest of 2024. laptopmag.com/laptops/best-o…
In #CES Unveiled tech that really impressed, the @XREAL_Global Air 2 Ultra aims to deliver an Apple Vision Pro style XR experience for $699. The 1080p image is crisp and sharp, even with 3D content. It creates a display wall you can reach out and interact with.
