Come all the way to Cyprus and the Clarets notch up their first win of the season. Will miss Charlton on Tuesday so another three points guaranteed!
Hold the back page….
So I've read the majority of the 40 page documents and there's more holes in it than a second hand dart board the whole fucking thing is just a mess i fear this will drag on for another 2 years and will only end with a high court ruling in the meantime fans and players will be abused on a daily basis I'm still leaning towards just taking the punishment then we can move forward i appreciate not many feel this way
Not at Lord’s over the weekend so, after a splendid couple of days, that’s it for me with @Middlesex_CCC this season.
Schedule has been rubbish so haven’t been as often this summer. Will probably renew again, but waiting to see the 2027 fixture list first.

Also an excuse for non-fans with little interest in the game to gobble up tickets for what they perceive as a fun way to get leathered outdoors and little else - as is also the case at rugby and cricket.
👏👏👏👏👏
Coz you’ve been spoilt the last few years. Football is frustrating 95% of the time, but you endure the shit just for maybe a chance of something to celebrate every once in a while. If your willing to leave it now, your no better than the players on the pitch atm #twitteclarets

More than 1300 widows of civil servants and teachers have been waiting more than 100 days for their pensions as charities say their treatment by Capita is an "injustice". More from @bbcdanw and Sarah Middlemiss of @mariecurieuk on @Moneybox noon @BBCRadio4

After 33 years of public service, one of my constituents has now waited more than six months for the pension he is owed.
He has exhausted the interest-free loans available to him, faced selling his car and been unable to support his daughter through university as planned - all while undergoing cancer treatment.
He still has not received his pension. That is unacceptable, and I raised his case in Parliament. 👇️
Miserable stuff in Swansea yesterday.
Just booked travel for Cardiff City away in November. Up The Clarets!!

Fair play to those Burnley fans that travelled. Glad we avoided a potential banana skin today #swans #twitterclarets
What a great boost. Had the honour of bumping into @GlenLittle07 on the way to the Liberty Stadium.
Managed to get him to the ground safely. Doesn’t have his boots with him, sadly.
Poor first half but Burnley were much better after the break. Feel for the manager having to build a team in September but hopefully tonight provides a platform to work from.
Satpayev, Roberts, Ekdal, Alleyne and Ramazani all had good games with Ugo taking his goal very well.
