Trump sued the BBC looking for another quick payday, but it’s not working out that way. The BBC is contesting the case, discovery is underway, Trump’s been ordered to sit for a deposition, and the BBC has subpoenaed Jack Smith to testify about Trump’s attempted coup. You can bet Trump will decide to dismiss the case and kiss his payday goodbye. The BBC is doing what ABC and CBS should have done.

The BBC is far from perfect. It's a HUGE, global organisation. Individual mistakes will be made. This one was trivial in the bigger scheme of things. A mistake, yes, admitted to, apologised for, with the most senior resignations possible. That is where it should've ended. But Trump is a malicious bully, trying to use his ill-gotten wealth, obtained through corrupting the office of the President, to destroy a national British institution. I am so glad the BBC are fighting back. Anyone loyal to Britain should be. Trump has been desperately trying to avoid this deposition - the BBC will make him answer directly to his ridiculous claims against them.

In these dismal times it is a constant joy to witness the BBC standing up to an American president who is no better than a gangster running a protection racket

BREAKING: Court orders Trump to sit for a deposition in his lawsuit against the BBC. The whole case is boomeranging against him and coming to focus on January 6.

Nadine has always been very clued up on these things. In other news, here’s her finding out how Channel 4 is funded, In the middle of a meeting she was chairing about defunding channel 4
Election law is very tight, clear and important. Our democracy rests upon the robustness of its application. This is not going to end well for ITV.

It’s that lovely old “Guildford twang”, don’cha know. People say it’s dying out, but those that know it can spot it a mile off. Quaint.
Right. I’m so fucking confused by Helen from Guildford’s bio. Anyone?

I've read more from Reform attacking ITV than apologising for the racism.
They didn’t ‘investigate.’ They commited criminals acts. Forged documents and violated a veteran. They will very likely serve prison sentences. I hope they think it was worth it.

Another attempt by Reform to shut down critical journalistic voices & strangle the free press. So much for the party of free speech. All of this is hyperbolic nonsense but it could easily have a chilling effect on those daring to disparage Reform politicians. That’s the aim.
STATEMENT: Reform UK has reported ITV, its board, and its undercover reporters to the police. Some of the crimes carry up to 10 years in prison. They forged a passport. They directly interfered in elections and almost certainly altered the results. Being paid to “canvass” for Reform in crucial wards we lost by a few dozen votes. They lied to a veteran about their service and left him “violated”. This is unprecedented. The police are now involved. Scrutiny of political parties is one thing. But anyone breaking the law to try and ruin the lives of Reform’s staff, members or volunteers will be reported to the police and pursued relentlessly in the courts. Here’s what happened 👇

What. The. Actual. Fuck… Praising Vladimir Putin as a humanitarian? What world are you living in? It’s obscene

Reform absolutely obsessed with the riots in France! Why? Because they want it here, they hate our country with a passion. Reject.

Reform are itching for riots to happen here. They only thrive in chaos. They're a temu MAGA outfit at best.
I'm not Dan. I'm saying get ready for unrest here if Burnham doesn't act now and get measures in place. But even you know the point I was making but your unhealthy obsession with Reform gets you foaming with rage. There's a fine line between being obsessed and possessed. Which one are you?

That’s bleakly funny. Very few stand up but their numbers are eventually supplemented when he comes on to recipients of the state pension - which is, I need hardly state, a welfare benefit. Reform is not a party of strivers & wealth creators.

I agree with Tan. It’s really obvious if you watch with the sound off.
He is staring to physically resemble someone in the depths of a serious cocaine addiction. Tweaking and dancing about in broad daylight is one thing, doing it on the day you’re in court is another.
