C'mon @trdsocal The last minute amendment for occupancy is BS. Developers will attest and leave unit vacant. So many other reasons that existing owners can't take advantage of SB9. Developers are the only winners here. therealdeal.com/national/202…

More than 70% of voters oppose California bills SB 9 and SB 10. And 46% of voters would look at Gov. @GavinNewsom unfavorably if he supports those bills. We don't need harmful #TrickleDownHousing solutions. Newsom must #VetoSB9andSB10! housinghumanright.org/sb-9-1…

Bang on Deborah. Mandating the RF is not enough. I simply do not trust govt to do what needs to be done. In Canada, the banks are starting to ask for condo docs which is unheard of prior. Withholding mortgages may be the biggest tool yet to force boards to comply.

Good exposé, especially for those WIMBY’s who claim they don’t understand the meaning of the word “financialization” when it comes to housing. (Spoiler: basically it means they’ve been outed again as Urban Growth Machine shills).

The drought is real.
The places our water comes from are drying up, or polluted, or very expensive.
Which makes this a great time to review: Where exactly does our water in Southern California come from?
