It took decades to build our mature R1 neighborhoods & I refuse to sit by idly while Sacto pols give away our beautiful communities to Wall St & greedy developers. Make no mistake, I am still in the biz of selling you a home to enjoy. And I fight for your right to enjoy it. 😍💯
𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲❗Costco is building 800 units with 200 affordable units stacked over a store. @CAgovernor, we DON'T NEED #SB79!! la.urbanize.city/post/costco…
A hint of the infrastructure problems to come with density. laist.com/news/housing-homel…
SB-9 units aren't getting built for financial reasons and likely SB-79 units will be slow, too. Then the uber left gets to keep arguing they are compelled to pass worse and worse laws. calmatters.org/housing/2025/…
Did @BuffyWicks really make that deceitful statement? Easy for her to defend that bill. She got her most affluent constituents carved out. 🤮🤮 calmatters.org/housing/2025/…
This is what CA should be doing, not passing bullshit developer giveaways.
Starting November 1st, New Mexico will become the first state to offer free universal childcare to all its residents.
It's expected to save families over $12,000 per child annually.
This is a huge step forward — and a reminder that we have the power to fix the system.
So many lies to get this thin vote, starting with the illusory concession to the labor unions on the most dense projects that won't even get built. And that stupid map for lightrail stops. Where is BRT map?? 🤮🤮 latimes.com/california/story…
So apparently the Republican Party in CA stands with developers, not homeowners. Good to know. Will vote accordingly in the future.
Can't for the life me figure out why this union is willing to be a shill for #SB79. Developers are not going to build the huge projects that trigger the union protections. calmatters.org/housing/2025/…
Buffy Wicks' constituents get a pass on #SB79 so she can vote yes and get no backlash from her voters? That's disgusting and ought to be illegal. 🤮🤮 timesofsandiego.com/opinion/…
"There is no incentive for developers to flood the market with overcapacity that will permanently lower long-term trends in rents and home prices." This will be more market rate crap we don't need and aspirational SF neighborhoods will be sacrificed. timesofsandiego.com/opinion/…
Confirmed by @Scott_Wiener to United Neighbors - he doesn't care about enough affordable units to house people. He only cares about obliterating single family neighborhoods and only in Socal. He's opted almost everybody else out of #SB79 to assemble support. 🤮🤮

SB79 treats neighborhoods not as places where people live and work but as dots on a map. It’s an expression of ego rather than planning.
Capitol housing reform wrongly targets the sacred power to shape California locally calmatters.org/commentary/20…

Thank you to all who took time out of their busy lives across the state to tell Sacramento to "butt" out. No on #SB79 youtu.be/20c5ZAs1D6w?si=zihs…
𝗟𝗶𝗲 #𝟱❗ YIMBYs care about affordable housing and livable communities. Nope - YIMBY lobbyists are backed by corporate and financial interests, pushing a profit-driven agenda disguised as progressivism. Their true goal is maximizing returns, not community well-being.
𝗟𝗶𝗲 #𝟰❗ Suburbs and single-family homes are racist and exclusionary. Nope - A majority of Americans of all backgrounds live in low- and medium-density neighborhoods or suburbs. 94% believe home ownership is central to the American Dream.
𝗟𝗶𝗲 #𝟯❗ Local governments block needed housing. Nope - Local officials care most about their communities’ growth, prosperity, and affordability. They know their neighborhoods’ needs better than distant bureaucrats and profit-driven corporations.
