This AI vibe coded nonsense is so low quality Epic Games offered them a one year exclusivity deal. Not sure who got the worse deal tbh.
Replying to @wobbyist @LigerzeroTTV
It's not good for marketing because there are no quality games released who are saying AI made their game viable or better.
I want good games to come out, AI thus far has been a prop or gimmick but far from transformative. AI folks saying I want game devs to suffer is hilarious.

If games were significantly improved by LLM implementation we would see successful game devs explaining how their well recieved game benefitted from its inclusion. Speculation that "everyone uses it but it's a secret" is cope until it is confirmed publicly.

You are missing the direct point.
If ai tools lead to better games studios would widely adopt it and it would be used in public marketing. Trying to hide its inclusion from the market means it signifies it is an inferior product. This is basic marketing/psychology.

If gen AI resulted in quickly and well made games we would see an avalanche of games using the dominant gen AI tool like Unreal Engine used to. Where are these groundbreaking games?
Most if not all public AI projects are low effort sim games or merely video trailers of ideas.

It goes beyond that, if AI was the superior game development tool you would see it used as marketing much like indies and Unity or the organic label on fruit. That they feel slighted by being forced to disclose they used AI tells you everything.

The part that I don't get is if gen AI was this great game dev tool we would be in a resurgence of the 90s era of gaming with amazing games coming out.
Meanwhile in reality we just get piles of 30 second clips of things vaguely resembling games like a special ed. show and tell.

Not just taking depositions but their phone numbers and pictures to think about while in prison.

It's impossible that they bought the game, found out it was a low quality game and then refunded it when it was clear it wasn't improving.
I know it is easier to buy into wacky conspiracy theories but the truth is waiting for you. Or just ask a chatbot to explain it to you.

Essentially incompetency/ignorance reaches a low point where people can't even identify their lack of knowledge or talent and believe they are better than those who are talented.
