In a full circle moment, I am delighted to share that I have collected two video pieces from @madebyoona’s poignant Dear David series. @madebyoona ➡️ The Portals ➡️ The Portals ➡️ @fndzionaversano ➡️ @BlakeneySanford ➡️ Dear David In April of 2024, I had the opportunity to show The Portals in New York City thanks to @TransientLabs, @MakersPlace and @kayvan2sfo. I presented new work and participated in a panel discussion where I shared the conceptual premise of project with artists, curators and collectors. It was there that I connected with @madebyoona and, without hesitation, she immediately became a collector and champion of my work. She was the first and (until recently) one of the only people in the Web3 space to have collected work from The Portals: Kinesis series, the video component that lives in perpetuity on the blockchain, representing the 4th dimension in The Portals series. 2.5 years later, another edition of this work has joined a significant collection thanks to @justinaversano and the @fndzionaversano, representing Wisconsin in their initial call to artists. I find it only fitting to bring this full circle, and thus I have used a portion of the proceeds from the @fndzionaversano sale to collect two pieces from @madebyoona’s Dear David series, a brilliant statement on our ever-increasing surveillance society and a series I’ve been intrigued with since its inception. 1.
