People on both sides saying "Well, Sarah McBride has her own bathroom in her office" don't seem to gather how fucking BIG Congress is. There's literally a little metro line in there. To expect or think she's going to go ALL THE WAY BACK to her office every damn time is insane.
I have somewhat mixed feelings about Rep-elect McBride's statement, but I totally get it. Honestly, there isn't much she can do, especially since she won't even be there for another 1.5 months and saying much else will just make the target bigger on her and us.
I'd love to see someone like @AOC, @RepJasmine or my incoming Rep @SarahForMD (the other new Sarah in the House) say, "Well, I'm going with Sarah McBride, if you won't let her use the women's restroom then I'm just going to go to the men's room as well".
