I had the opportunity to work closely with Dr. Salata in our COVID command center. Dedicated, SO smart, and so kind. A great guy.
It is with a heavy heart that I convey news of the death of Robert Salata, whose brilliance was surpassed only by his kindness. His impact on @UHhospitals & @cwru is immense. We will remember his wisdom, compassion and tenacious commitment to his patients and global populations.
So many unbelievable mentors to get me to this point in my career. @mjstull @nobleultrasound, Dr. Chris Miller, and so many more. Thank you for your guidance and support!
