Does more bupivacaine mean more sustained headache relief after a sphenopalatine ganglion block? In this randomized, four-arm ED study of 220 patients with moderate to severe headache, larger doses and bilateral administration did not lead to significantly greater sustained headache relief than lower-dose approaches. The procedure was generally well tolerated, with minor adverse events reported in ≤10% of patients.
