DEVELOPING: An employee with Metro tells me a man with a long-gun shot a woman at the Porter street bus stop in Tenleytown.
Suspect reportedly then got on the Metro bus and was taken down by police near Upton and Wisconsin.
Witness tells me they think it may be domestic.

Bradley Boulevard Update: Miss Utility has begun marking underground utilities in the area of the 20-inch diameter water main break. This required safety step must be completed before we can safely dig. Crews are also pumping water from the break site.Three commercial customers are without service as a result of the break.

Bradley Blvd Update: Water has been shut off so crews can safely begin the repair process. Five customers are without water. Before digging can begin, Miss Utility must mark underground utilities in the area. Once that’s complete, crews can safely excavate, assess the damage to the 20-inch diameter pipe and determine how long repairs will take. We appreciate your patience while we work to repair this critical infrastructure.

U.S. Secret Service personnel are on the scene of an officer-involved shooting at 15th Street and Independence Avenue in Washington, D.C. One individual was shot by law enforcement; their condition is currently unknown. Please avoid the area as emergency crews are responding.

We are on the scene of a crash at 7th and Q Streets NW in DC where a bus was struck by a vehicle, causing it to crash into a building. Three people sustained minor injuries, including the bus operator. @DCPoliceDept and @dcfireems are leading the investigation.

1. There's a lot of variability in the forecast, with a potential for snow starting Sunday afternoon.
2. If the forecast holds, we expect to activate a full deployment of the District Snow Team on Sun, Feb 22, with salting to begin at noon that day.
