Our friendly @MPSQueenstown Neighbourhood Team came along at the right time to assist with #RTA outside @BatterseaPwrStn. Pleased no one was hurt but its a stretch where there are a lot of collisions and some fatal. Tx to contractors for clearing up the mess. @TfL @MBCyclingTM

Over 170 MPs and Peers call on the Prime Minister to stop the deportation flight scheduled for 11th February until the Lessons learned review is published and its recommendations are implemented. #WindrushScandal #HostileEnvironment

The Home Office plans to deport 50 people to Jamaica on 11th February. Cancel the flight until the Lessons Learned Review is published and its recommendations implemented, or risk repeating the Windrush scandal. Over 170 colleagues and I wrote urging the Prime Minister to act.

Great to speak to @ASLEFunion members today about the vital importance of representation of BAME communities in our Labour movement.

Today would have been Reggae legend Bob Marley’s 75th birthday. Bob’s rebel music took him from the slums of Jamaica and made him one the world’s biggest stars. Bob spent time in South London in the 70s and would play football in Battersea Park. RIP

Lovely Christmas party with @batterseapower community. Outside, original power station has been dismantled & rebuilt and flats surround it so only the tips of the chimneys are visible. A Grade II listed building covered from residents who have had a view of it all their lives.

Last night more people turned up to a community organising *training* by @LabourByTheMany than attended Boris Johnson’s *campaign launch* in Birmingham. That’s completely wild.
