This story is so important. Veterans who risked their lives for our nation and were exposed to toxins during their service at the Nevada Test and Training Range can’t get the VA benefits they deserve. Our veterans deserve better and it can’t wait any longer. Congress must pass my bipartisan bill to require the Department of Defense to join the Department of Energy in classifying these sites as locations where contamination occurred so that these veterans can finally access the VA benefits they are owed.
