The recent market correction offered a rare chance to see how Virtue performs when things get turbulent. Moments like this are where the protocol’s design is truly tested and we’re pleased to report that Virtue handled the volatility exactly as intended.
When prices dropped sharply across the market, Virtue’s liquidation system automatically redirected through its controlled route to keep the protocol solvent and user positions protected. Throughout the entire event, Virtue stayed fully connected to @PythNetwork oracles, ensuring that all actions were based on accurate, real-time market data.
As a result, every position was handled correctly, no bad debt occurred, and the Stability Pool remained safe. This real-world test reinforced Virtue’s core promise: maintaining stability and protecting users even in extreme market conditions.

🔴Very important for all $IOTA DeFi users out there.
It got a lot harder to outplay boring stakers through DeFi with @swirlstake removing their Boost.
Currently Pandabyte 2 offers 12.93% APY.
@swirlstake offers 8,64% APY on their stIOTA.
In order to outperform boring staking you would need to get a very secure 4,29% APY through DeFi.
The basic virtue loop (providing stIOTA as colletral and using vUSD for staking) isn't currently high enough and basically delivers with a safe collateral ratio of 2:1 only half of those rewards.
The stIOTA/vUSD Pool Farm on @PoolsFinance comes with enough APR to outperform the boring staking but also only very closely.
Also the pool brings some risks of impermanent loss.
DeFi just got a lot more competitive on $IOTA. It's going to be very interesting how this move will play out in the long term.
@swirlstake will have a difficult time with such low APRs compared to classic staking.

Nonetheless, the yield opportunities are BIG while allowing for risk-minimized strategies.
A short summary:
◼️@swirlstake offers $IOTA liquid staking at ~15% APY
◼️@Poolsfinance farms offers ~25% APY for pooling $IOTA / $stIOTA
◼️@virtue_money $VUSD stability pool deposits yield ~9.5% APY - while borrowing $VUSD comes at 5.5% interest
The biggest yields are to be farmed when combining protocols. This can take many shapes, depending on risk appetite.
My setup curerntly looks somewhat like this;
◼️Borrowed $VUSD at high CR (🙏)
◼️ Added some of it to the @virtue_money stability pool - so I can pay back my loan with farming rewards and buy liquidated assets for cheap
◼️Bought $IOTA with $VUSD to achieve a bit of leverage
◼️Farming the $IOTA / $stIOTA pool without concern for IL
