PSWSMan 3.0 is out with cross-platform Windows authentication support provided by sspi-rs, the Rust SSPI library that we develop at Devolutions! This is a major upgrade from Jordan, go try it out 💪👇
It's been a long time coming but PSWSMan v3 for #PowerShell has been released powershellgallery.com/packag…. This is a major upgrade that moves away from the C omi library to a C# WSMan stack. No more root required, better Enter-PSSession experience, and lots more features enabled.
Are you sick and tired of asking?
Me: "no Co-Authored-By in commits, please"
AI: "got it 👍"
AI, 3 commits later: "Co-Authored-By: Claude"
no-ai-attribution doesn't ask. It enforces. 🚫🤖

Hi @awakecoding 👋
I've been playing with IronRDP it's a really cool project thank you guys for making it open source.
I'm building a Mac RDP server with it as the base.
Hi #PowerShell almost everything is build for arm64 these days is there a chance to add support for arm64 Deb/rpm packages?
Pretty please with suger on top 🙏
Hi @tigkindel was GitHub.com/tui-cs/PSTui not a recent fork?
I see lots of commits directly to master before the initial fork.
Also I made a PR to increase the security of the github actions.
Also I recommend adding repository rules to enforce security like branch restriction
Block direct commits to master.
Each PR requires GPG signed commits + additional reviewer.
If this project won't have strong security guidelines it would be really hard to make it take off as the replacement of the original project it was forked from especially recently due to the recent supply chain attacks
Heartbroken to see the #PowerShell team abendoning ConsoleGuiTools
No more love for Out-ConsoleGridView and those beautiful terminal Uls that made cross-platform life so much better.
I suggest we share this and go post on the github issue to show them how much we care ❤️

Are you ready for a world of “ish” instead of certainty in #IT?
At #PSConfEU, @jsnover explains how #AI is changing:
✅ Software & decisions
✅ #Automation approaches
✅ How we handle uncertainty
Adapt fast — or fall behind.

This would be a great feature for Linux and MacOS 👇

Any plans to allow delayed updates similar to what npm has made?
I would love to have an option to only install updates thst are x days old etc.
Thank you very much for all your hard work and dedication 🙏

'Slides' and demos from my #PSConfEU session 'Forgotten Gems of PowerShell' are up on GitHub: github.com/bielawb/powershel…
Task of the day: You need to recursively find all JSON files, extract the 'user.email' field from each, and export to CSV.
Bash: find . -name "*.json" -exec jq ... | awk ... | while read... (proceeds to summon ancient demons)
PowerShell:
Get-ChildItem -Recurse -Filter *.json | Get-Content | ConvertFrom-Json | Select user.email | Export-Csv emails.csv
Same task.
One feels like dark magic.
The other feels like cheating.
PowerShell just hits different 😏
#PowerShell #Bash #Linux #DevLife"
Task: Filter a 50,000-row CSV, keep only rows where Status = 'Active' and Amount > 1000, then export to new file.
Bash: awk -F, '$4=="Active" && $7>1000' | cut -d, -f1,2,7 > out.csv
(and huge.csv pray the commas in fields don't murder you)
PowerShell: $data = Import-Csv huge.csv
Where-Object { $_.Status -eq 'Active' and [double]$_.Amount -gt 1000 }; $data Export-Csv out.csv
PowerShell treats data like data. Bash treats everything like a hostage negotiation with text.

Hi @Bitwarden 👋
Any plans for official #PowerShell support using the SecretManagement module?
This would be huge for PowerShell users and automation workflows!
learn.microsoft.com/en-us/po…
PowerShell on Linux & macOS is seriously underrated.
Same language. Same scripts. Runs everywhere.
Installed via brew/apt in seconds and suddenly your automation works on Windows, Linux, and Mac without rewriting everything in bash.
Who’s using `pwsh` outside of Windows? What’s your best cross-platform trick?
#PowerShell
I wish @microsoft and the @powershell team would get their act together and make #PowerShell 7 the default on windows.
So it can finally be the same version on all platforms.
Lets get this post as many likes and retweets as possible to finally make it a reality 💪
