Mr Bates vs The Post Office depicts desperate miscarriage of justice and cover up. Brought many tears to the eye. Campaigning takes time. Some similarities to the 'smart' motorway campaign. itv.com/watch/mr-bates-vs-th…

What a fantastic painting
James Bartholomew@JGBartholomew14 Sep 2022
In 1936, my grandfather, Frank E. Beresford, a professional artist, went to see the lying-in-state of King George V. He was moved by the scene & asked permission to set up his easel and paint it. From this emerged his painting, The Princes' Vigil, which was bought by Queen Mary.

On a training course this I challenged my fear of ladders and heights by climbing one of our poles. Next time you see someone working at height spare a thought for the guys making it happen.
