@JimDesmondSD @JoelAndersonCA @SanDiegoCounty I can find few, if any, nonprofit boards receiving massive amounts of taxpayer funds that do not have current, or former, county administrative officials who are steering nonprofit boards' fiscal policy and contracting decisions.
Replying to @JoelAndersonCA
@JoelAndersonCA @JimDesmondSD Allowing the CAO appoint/make all county decisions w/o board oversight is nothing more than handing your elected vote to the special interests who offer CAOs lucrative board appointments. Lack of "political meddling" IS taxation w/o representation.
Educate yourselves on the political, legal, financial and corporate structure and its overlapping interests. Its a disgrace how blind, dumb and deaf elected officials are and how badly they are allowing their constituents get ripped off, exploited, oppressed and robbed blind.

@SummerStephan @UCSD @SanDiegoCounty Biggest winners of the current setup? Pradeep Khosla, UCSD Chancellor, CEO/President of UCSD Foundation and most important of all: Joan and Irwin Jacobs Endowed Chair. Irwin Jacobs and the Foundation bankrolling at least half Khosla's salary
We can thank ALL of our very very proo-developer San Diego legislatures like David Alvarez for burning down Rome so Nero can fiddle amongst the flames.

I think there is a recetly filed civil rights lawsuit against UCSD and the county? I highly suggest the plaintiff take a keen interest in this tight little network.
Replying to @SDCityCouncil
@SDCityCouncil tell @FatherJoes, SVDP and downtown partnership, selling their massive real estate portfolio can buy every single homeless person a house. But getting people off the streets hurts the bottom line when there is no reason to demand tax dollars to feed the racket.
Emmanuel Shaleta is Protestant? According to the SD Sheriff's own announcement Shaleta is a Catholic Bishop not Protestant and I explicitly remember the Pope accepting his resignation. If so, getting the facts mixed up doesn't help the appearance of credibility.
Women exist as a biological reality when science can profit from experimenting on all a woman's "unique" psychological/physical "differences". In all other situations you're a bigot or radical if you claim biology, not mentality makes you a man or woman.
The science of women’s health is at a crossroads. For decades, it has been limited by an underrepresentation of women in clinical trials and research, resulting in diagnostic blind spots, treatment gaps, and inequities in health outcomes. However, a growing wave of research is addressing these disparities. This work not only advances knowledge of the unique biological and social dimensions of women’s health but also facilitates broad discoveries in biology and innovations in human medicine.
A special issue of @ScienceAdvances last year highlighted some of the most exciting areas of discovery in women’s health science. The group of articles also explored psychological, systemic, and policy issues that shape women’s well-being.
Advancing women’s health is integral to advancing science itself. By prioritizing women’s unique physiological and psychological experiences, the frontiers of knowledge are expanded in ways that benefit everyone.

Well by all means, let's throw the dimensionless number to the curb and see what happens to EM.
Replying to @Physquant @ThePhysicsMemes
lol yes because nothing says "fundamental" like a dimensionless number floating in the void doing all the heavy lifting.
Must have pissed off a local pimp. The politicians running these states and their second rate criminal street scum are shockingly intelligent. Refusing to let ICE arrest violent felons, and cheering on street riots protects pedophiles, but I'd expect that to fly over your head.
