There are no shortcuts in a Democracy. We should all be horrified by today’s events.

Memorial Day Brookline. We honor and remember the service men and women who served when they were called, some making the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedoms.

Brookline has agreed to a historic contract with the Police Union. We praise this result, the collaboration that it required, and the message that it sends. That message is clear.  We value our Police Department and the important contribution that they make to our community.

Appreciate @MayorWu shout-out to @TownofBrookline for its leadership example passing meaningful MBTA Communities Act compliant zoning.

When faced with the inevitable choices of what to fund and what to cut, we should retain the funding for smaller class sizes and the support services that help our children navigate an education system greatly impacted by the pandemic and its aftermath.
.@BrooklinePublic’s superintendent made an initial request tonight of $138.6 million for next year’s budget — $1.5 million over the town’s projection and 6% more than this year’s. Story to come in @brookline_news. In the meantime, here’s the request: brookline.k12.ma.us/cms/lib/…

I am honored to serve with Bernard and appreciate his commitment to the MLK Day Celebration Committee.
Replying to @SelectGreene
@SelectGreene has chaired Brookline’s MLK Celebration Committee for nine years. The MLK Day programs at the @thecoolidge never disappoint.
