I am still not clear on why there was no communication about this, every announcement was clearly stating the train was stopping, even saying it was just about to depart from Sutton. Who would have been responsible for making that communication reach passengers?

We were told it was delayed due to trespassers, and it was only 8 minutes. The announcements kept coming and it even said it had arrived. All other trains on similar routes stopped (Sutton - Mitcham Eastfields). Why was Carshalton cancelled for what is a minor delay?
