New low in peer review! Perspective article rejected from a top journal after rev #1 submitted entirely AI review. They focused on limitations in the methodology, results, and data, none of which are present/applicable for perspective piece. Thankfully EIC sorted it after appeal.

I couldn’t be happier that my #MRI #brain scan last Friday showed no evidence of recurrence of my #glioblastoma! It’s now 13.5 months since my seizure in Poland when it showed up.
I cannot thank the entire neuro-oncology team enough for looking after me & supporting me so well including A/Prof Michael Back who went through the scans with me.
Thanks also to expert #neuroradiologist Dr Jamie Drummond for interpreting the scans and the North Shore Radiology team.
I am so fortunate to have such a fabulous caring team looking after me so well especially my wonderful wife Katie & family, friends & colleagues.
A #cancer journey is incredibly difficult for patients and their families and just as I continue to rely on my neuro-oncology clinical team for their expert guidance, I strongly encourage all brain cancer patients to continue consulting their own medical teams.
