With demand from renters at an all time high, is it worth paying ££££ to a letting agent to find renters? I decided to do it myself using @OpenRent for £49. I actually found it less hassle and would never go back. ⬇️ Take a look at my tips to self-let theindependentlandlord.com/h…

Student rent debt: new data from our largest letting agent @OpenRent finds 28% of their student user base who rent from private landlords asked for a rent reduction but were denied one. Govt advice is that landlords should be "compassionate" @Refinery29UK refinery29.com/en-gb/2021/03…

had a rental property listed on @OpenRent and new tenants viewed it 24 hours later 👍 deposit paid, no void period. And someone else also wanted to take it. Property journos note: the rental market is not all doom and gloom #happylandlord #bePositive

£29 the last time I checked, I think that’s for 3 months on Rightmove etc, might be less - but anyway I’ve always found tenants in a few days, usually less than a week

as someone who rents my home (while abroad) @openrent is a life saver. I found London estate agents disingenuous and outright dangerous. Their priorities are neither aligned with those of tenants or of landlords.

This is why we're doing #VentYourRent today - tomorrow is the deadline for #RegisterToVote Because we renters move around so frequently, we estimate that there are 2.4m at risk of missing out on picking the next government independent.co.uk/news/uk/po…

Can’t wait for OpenRent or something similar to come to Singapore. I use them for my place in the U.K. Cuts out the middleman beautifully. RE agents in SG are zero value add.

The flat I’m leaving was let out by OpenRent 😂 moving in process was a dream by comparison Never should have looked at renting through an agency, but I thought I’d give them a go now they can’t charge us ridiculous fees! Lesson learned 🙅🏻‍♀️ – at Manchester, England

I would recommend @OpenRent to landlords. They make everything SUPER easy! Can arrange all the checks you need inc. gas safe etc, referencing, rent collection... basically anything you can need. All under one roof!

Would recommend looking on OpenRent, or any other kind of direct-to-private-landlord service/platform, if you haven't already. Still a struggle, but not having to deal with letting agents does at least make it a bit less soul destroying, and saves you the pointless agency fees.

Had a great experience using Open Rent. The site was really intuitive. I was just going to use the free trial but I would pay for the @Zoopla , @rightmove listing plus the messaging service. Thanks @OpenRent I would recommend trying it out here: openrent.co.uk/invite/c/RRRI…
