Hello hello, long time no speak, does anyone have any experience of selling a flat as a non-qualifying leaseholder (as pre the Building Safety Act). Is it even possible?!

Any advice from London landlords where I can get internal fire doors for a small HMO, supplied and fitted? TIA

Sooo, any advice on how you can check if your ex-local authority property was built with #RAAC ?

So what are we thinking is a reasonable BTL interest rate just now?

Anyone else being bombarded with calls from ‘the govt Tenancy Deposit Service’, who are telling people that it’s illegal for landlords to deduct anything from tenants’ deposits? 🤦‍♀️
Once more Rishi, with feeling this time
Mortgage Twitter, my lender says if I pay a chunk off my mortgage I’ll incur an Early Redemption Fee BUT it says I can increase my monthly repayments without any fees and this will reduce my debt and interest charges. What’s the difference?

Thanks. Lender says I can’t even pay 10pc off without triggering the early repayment charge so I’m not sure why they say I can increase my DD instead 🤷‍♀️
Me waiting to speak to #SSE to set up a direct debit to ensure my tenants are on the cheapest #energy tariff.
Hello Landlord Twitter, it’s been a while. Am I correct in thinking that if a tenant has an emergency ie blocked/non-flushing loo and there’s only 1 loo but the LL says it will take a few days to sort ie they don’t want to pay plumber’s w/e rates, tenant can sort and bill them?
Looks like @British_Airways is continuing to totally take the piss out of its customers
Replying to @British_Airways
@British_Airways just want to say thank you for choosing NOT to load my suitcase on the flight to Gibraltar yesterday. Very disappointed as silver card holder. No swimmers, clothes, my daughters critical medicine too. Not answering phone anywhere. Ruined my holiday
Wondering how landlords faced with rising interest rates are feeling about raising rents for tenants who are facing rising energy and food bills? #energybills #CostOfLivingCrisis

It costs more for the parts to repair my 2.5 yo #Hotpoint oven than buy a new one. It’s got a 5yr parts warranty BUT only if I pay for a Hotpoint engineer’s visit (which they outsource to D&G) and, yep, this costs more than a new oven. It’s a waste but I’m gonna buy a new oven

But not a Hotpoint, obviously, am never gonna buy any of their shit ever again 😂

A long-term tenant has asked me to provide her with a character reference for a new job. Odd, but sweet. I’m going to say she’s fab, obviously, I don’t want a jobless tenant😂 #landlord

If the govt is going to phase out gas boilers by 2035, what plan does it have to cut cost of electricity, which I believe is 2-3x higher than gas? What about families who can’t even afford their heating bills now? #carbonneutral #property
I’ve only just been alerted to the fact that my car insurance has an ADDITIONAL excess of £400 for my 20yo son; fair enough, but shouldn’t the young driver excess be highlighted in the policy, not buried in the small print @MartinSLewis @paullewismoney ? #youngdriverinsurance
How can tenants in #HMOs manage to avoid the need to constantly self-isolate? Mine have at least one case of Covid in the house every month, which means the others also have to quarantine. It’s a never-ending nightmare 😱
A builder comes to inspect a leak in my kitchen. “It’s a million percent a problem with the roof, it’ll cost £1500 to £2000 to fix,” he says. I ask if he’s sure it’s not coming from the bathroom, he goes to take a look then says: “It’s a million percent coming from the bath.” 🤦‍♀️

Wandsworth dump is so posh, I’d pay good money for most of the stuff that comes out of the back of those mostly new Landrovers that roll up on a Sunday
