1/2 I asked Lewisham council at a meeting to promote their Selective Licensing scheme: How much of the money coming in will be used to go out and find real criminals who let property without any checks at all – no gas checks no electrics etc...

But the war on small scale private rented sector landlords (not the big corporates) all started under the Tories.
Both Labour and Tory are part of an elite that is in thrall to wealth creation by big corporations but despises endeavour & wealth creation at the family level.
2/2: ...And you cannot keep transferring risk and cost onto landlords while pretending none of it will eventually reach tenants in massively increased rents.
Oh, and yes, Labour and Tories both hate the uppity “kulak landlords”, but love the big nameless corporate landlords.
